Old Oak Common Lane Highways and IEP Depot Access - Design and Construction

BBVS Joint Venture is seeking a contractor to deliver the Old Oak Common Lane highways package as part of the HS2 Old Oak Common Station project in West London. This major infrastructure project involves the design and construction of highways, temporary and permanent access routes, utility installation and removal, and retaining wall works. Key deliverables include: (i) IEP Depot temporary and permanent access routes with retaining wall construction; (ii) Old Oak Common Lane highway lowering, widening and realignment with street furniture, lighting and signage; (iii) removal of redundant utilities; (iv) installation of final utilities including water, sewer, telecoms and power; and (v) civil engineering works including new and remedial retaining walls on Old Oak Common Lane and Wells House Road. The contractor must provide all labour, equipment, plant and materials to deliver RIBA Stage 5 design through to installation and certification. Requirements include demonstrating capability to work in a rail environment, producing 2D/3D designs in native dgn format using projectwise software, and liaising with stakeholders including Transport for London, Crossrail, Network Rail and Thames Water. Works are anticipated to run from Q1 2028 to Q1 2032. Contract will be awarded under NEC3 Option A.
