Recoating Service for Train Components on London Underground Lines

Transport for London (TfL) is seeking a supplier to provide offsite recoating services for worn cast and machined components used on S Stock (S7) and Central Line trains. Components requiring recoating include sleet brushes, shoe gear brackets, and associated parts that operate on the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, and Central Lines. The recoating process must restore all components to 'as-new' condition to ensure continued operational reliability until the next scheduled overhaul (approximately nine years for S7 trains and six years for Central Line trains). Suppliers should demonstrate capability to perform high-quality surface coating restoration at their own facilities and maintain appropriate quality standards for London Underground operations.
