Humber Bridge Anchorage A-Frames Replacement

The Humber Bridge Board is seeking a qualified Contractor to design and construct replacement A-frames for the rocker bearings at both the Hessle and Barton anchorages of the Humber Bridge. The project involves advancing the existing conceptual design into a detailed engineering design and executing the physical replacement of the current Barton and Hessle anchorage A-Frames with a new system comprising vertically oriented pendels and a wind shoe. The new system must maintain all current load-bearing capacity and translation (movement) requirements. This is a design-build contract suitable for contractors with experience in major bridge infrastructure, structural engineering, and complex mechanical systems.
