Cruse Bereavement Support Service Contract - Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire

This is a procurement opportunity for bereavement support services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG). Cruse Bereavement Care seeks to provide emotional and psychological support to children, young people and adults experiencing grief. The service recognizes that while many people adjust to bereavement naturally, some individuals require structured professional support to prevent physical or mental health complications. The service model relies on trained volunteers who complete rigorous selection, accredited training and ongoing supervision. The delivery model includes: self-referral intake, initial needs assessment, telephone support, group information sessions, drop-in support groups, one-to-one bereavement counselling, therapeutic groups and specialist support for bereaved children and young people. Providers should demonstrate strong partnerships with local health and social care organizations and ability to establish clear care pathways and appropriate signposting. This opportunity is managed by BNSSG Integrated Care Board (ICB).
