Integrated Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Services for Buckinghamshire

Buckinghamshire Council is commissioning integrated Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (DASV) services under the Buckinghamshire Domestic Abuse Service Plus (BDAS+) model. The service will run for five years from 1 April 2027, with options to extend for two further 12-month periods based on performance, funding, and strategic need. The commission comprises two lots with four separate contracts: Lot 1 provides single-sex accommodation-based support; Lot 2 delivers community-based advocacy and specialist support across three tiers—Core and Inclusive Support, Specialist Provision and Targeted Support, and Therapeutic and Recovery-Focused Interventions. All providers must operate as part of a unified Buckinghamshire Domestic Abuse Service Alliance, working collaboratively to share responsibility, coordinate pathways, and ensure seamless, integrated services for victims and survivors. The service model is trauma-informed, survivor-centred, and outcomes-focused, designed to reduce duplication, minimize re-traumatization through repeated disclosures, and deliver the right support at the right time regardless of how service users enter the system.
