Brief

This demolition project in Stafford Town Centre comprises three phased works: Phase 1A: Soft strip and demolition of the former Wilko store and Shopmobility unit on Broad Street to prepare the site for future development. Phase 1B: Soft strip and demolition of the building at 10-12 Gaolgate Street, including ground floor retail and upper floors, to create a development platform. Phase 1C: Façade retention of the Guildhall Shopping Centre entrance (accessed from Crabbery Street), followed by demolition of two-storey retail units, concrete frame structure, and glazed roof sections to the rear. Phases will commence at different times. Tenders are being invited through the CCS Framework RM6088 Construction Works and Associated Services. Suppliers should be experienced in soft strip operations, structural demolition, and façade retention work.
