Bulky Waste Collection, Sorting, Reuse, Recycling and Disposal Services for Powys County Council

Powys County Council is seeking a supplier to deliver comprehensive bulky waste collection and processing services. The service will focus on maximizing reuse and recycling of materials collected, with the goal of increasing the council's overall recycling performance and meeting Welsh Government statutory recycling targets. The supplier will be responsible for collecting bulky waste items, sorting materials, exploring repair and reuse opportunities, processing recyclable materials, and appropriately managing any residual waste. The council is particularly interested in innovative solutions that reduce the volume of waste sent to landfill, support zero waste principles, and minimize carbon emissions. The service must comply with all relevant waste management regulations and align with the Council's Waste and Resource Strategy. Contract value is to be determined based on the delivery route selected by the council.
