Deep Cleaning Services for NHS Lothian Hospital Kitchens

NHS Lothian seeks a qualified contractor to provide routine deep cleaning services at seven hospital kitchen sites across the region, including Western General Hospital, Royal Edinburgh Hospital, Royal Hospital for Children & Young People, East Lothian Community Hospital, and St John's Hospital locations. Services are required 2-3 times per year per the specified cleaning schedule (see Appendix 2). The contractor must perform comprehensive cleaning including canopy, filter, and extraction system cleaning; decarbonising of cooking equipment such as fryers and ranges; full disinfection of surfaces, fittings, and equipment; dismantling and reassembly of equipment as needed to access difficult areas; high-level cleaning; waste removal to appropriate facilities; and provision of a final cleanliness certificate. All cleaning must use food-safe, non-corrosive, environmentally friendly chemicals and professional-grade equipment to achieve thorough results.
