LOLER Engineering Inspection Services for Community Equipment

NHS Dumfries & Galloway and Dumfries & Galloway Council are seeking qualified engineering inspection services to conduct LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) inspections as part of the Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES). This joint venture provides equipment and adaptations to help people with illness or disabilities maintain independence at home. The successful contractor will be required to perform inspections across approximately 300 private residences throughout the Dumfries & Galloway region. Services may be extended to include additional partner organizations. Inspectors must be competent to assess lifting equipment used in domestic settings and ensure compliance with current health and safety regulations. The contract covers equipment and adaptations supplied by NHS Dumfries & Galloway and Dumfries & Galloway Council Social Services.
