Wellness Room and Sensory Pod Design, Supply, and Installation - Dromore West Community Centre

Sligo County Council invites qualified contractors to design, supply, install, and commission a fully equipped Wellness Room with an integrated Sensory Pod at Dromore West Community Centre (dimensions approximately 2.6m x 4m). The facility will serve the local community 24/7, supporting individuals of all ages with sensory processing needs, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, sensory impairments, or emotional regulation challenges. The wellness space must provide a calming, therapeutic environment for stress relief and relaxation suitable for young children, teenagers, adults, and older adults, including those with dementia. A key requirement is incorporating an engaging audiovisual experience highlighting the Armada using modern technology, demonstrating dynamic, engaging, and educational content. The installation must be safe, durable, and accessible, promoting relaxation, sensory stimulation, and therapeutic benefit. Room upgrades and modernization will be undertaken to accommodate the audiovisual installation.
