Cumberland Council is seeking a managed service provider to operate an 18-month pilot programme for cross-pavement electric vehicle charging solutions. This opportunity targets residents without off-street parking access who need safe, accessible EV charging infrastructure. The appointed supplier will be responsible for: managing the application process for residents, overseeing installation of cross-pavement cable management solutions, and providing ongoing maintenance throughout the pilot period. The solution must safely guide EV charging cables across pavements while maintaining full accessibility for all pedestrians and minimising trip hazards. Upon pilot completion, all installed gullies and infrastructure will transfer to Cumberland Council ownership and be incorporated into their asset register.
