Playground Equipment Installation at Carnation Hall

The Parish Council is undertaking improvements to the playground at Carnation Hall following a public request and professional inspection. A competitive procurement process was conducted, with eight playground equipment companies invited to submit proposals. Four companies responded with proposals, and the council shortlisted three final designs for public consideration. These designs were publicly displayed on the Parish Council Facebook page and presented at two on-site consultation meetings to gather community feedback. A public vote was held, resulting in one design receiving 72% support. The contractor associated with the winning design has been selected to proceed with development and installation of the new playground equipment. This project represents an opportunity for the selected contractor to deliver high-quality playground improvements that meet community needs and expectations.
