Health and Safety Services for School Expansion Project

The City of Garbsen is planning a new construction and expansion of the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium in Berenbostel to accommodate the increasing number of students due to the G9 expansion. The school will grow from a capacity of 4 to 5.5 classes, necessitating additional general classrooms, specialized rooms, and subject-specific teaching spaces. The new building will have a gross floor area of approximately 7,453.73 m2 and will be three stories high. An internal space exchange is also planned, where the existing administrative area will be relocated to the new building, allowing the freed-up space to be converted into science classrooms. The renovation of the administrative area is also part of this tender and should be included in the calculations. The construction period is expected to last about 30 months, starting in January 2026 and concluding in June 2028. The commissioning of the new building is scheduled for spring 2028, according to the current timeline of the City of Garbsen.
