Multi-Party Framework Agreement for Design and Build Social Housing Contractors in Cork County

Cork County Council is seeking to establish a Multi-Party Framework Agreement with seven contractors to deliver large-scale social housing projects using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). The framework has an estimated total value of €250 million with no upper project limit for individual contracts (minimum €5 million). Contractors must provide Design and Build services including architectural, civil/structural engineering, and mechanical/electrical design expertise. MMC specialisms required include volumetric housing units, timber frame, light gauge steel frame, precast concrete panels, and insulated concrete formwork. The initial project involves constructing 45 social housing units (mix of apartments, semi-detached and terrace houses) at Broomfield West, Midleton, Cork, including site development and external works. The contract will use the PW-CF2 public works form. Additional projects under the framework will be awarded through mini-competitions evaluated on cost and quality. Interested contractors should note there is no guarantee of work beyond the initial project, and contract delivery periods may extend beyond the framework agreement expiry date.
