Reactive and Planned Handyman Services for Office Maintenance

Citizen is conducting a preliminary market exercise to explore potential procurement of handyman services for their office accommodation and welfare sites across the West Midlands region (Coventry, Birmingham, Hereford, and Worcester). The successful supplier will be expected to provide: (1) Responsive maintenance with 24-hour emergency call-out and 3-5 day response for non-urgent work; (2) Flexible block-booking arrangements for half or full-day handyman cover; (3) Primary in-house delivery with sub-contractors used only for specialist work such as drainage and guttering, with prior notification required; (4) All required documentation including RAMS, insurance certificates, H&S policies, and training records before commencing work; and (5) Additional services including general decoration and small office refurbishment projects. Citizen seeks an experienced supplier with a proven track record serving office buildings of similar scale and complexity. Preference will be given to West Midlands-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to support local employment.
