Construction Work for Fridtjof Nansen Secondary School - Basement Waterproofing

The Fridtjof Nansen Secondary School in Gronau is a four-stream secondary school that offers after-school care. The current school building consists of four sections. The project involves the renovation and restructuring of the existing buildings from 1939 (Section 3A) and 1957 (Section 3B), as well as the addition of a new three-story building (Section 4) and the creation of a connection between the old and new buildings. The northern building from 1968 (Section 1) will be demolished and replaced with a new structure. Part of the technical basement will remain. The eastern building will be partially demolished (Section 2), renovated, and restructured, with an additional staircase on the third floor and the construction of a new stairwell (Section 2). The existing facades from 1939 and 1957 will be further developed while maintaining the brick facades. The construction project is divided into two phases, each with three sections. The first phase includes the renovation and restructuring of sections 3A and 3B and the construction of section 4. The second phase includes the renovation and restructuring of section 1 and the construction of section 2. The basic renovation will be carried out in two phases while the school remains operational. The city of Gronau is inviting bids for the basement waterproofing work as part of the expansion of the Fridtjof Nansen Secondary School.
