Brief

South Lanarkshire Council is seeking qualified providers to deliver vehicle breakdown and recovery services for its fleet management operations. The contract covers recovery services for both light vehicles (up to 3.5 tonnes) and heavy vehicles (exceeding 3.5 tonnes), as well as mobile plant items. Services will be required across two geographical areas: North (East Kilbride, Hamilton, Larkhall, Cambuslang, and Rutherglen) and South (Clydesdale). Recovery operations may be needed within South Lanarkshire boundaries and occasionally beyond. All work must comply with industry standards recognized by relevant trade bodies and meet all applicable legislation and codes of practice for vehicle recovery and uplift operations. This tender excludes warranty work and specialist repairs. Interested providers should have the capability, equipment, and resources to respond to recovery calls across both geographical zones and handle the full range of council fleet vehicles and plant items.
