Architect and Community Engagement Consultant for Westborough and Park Barn Housing Strategy

The Westborough & Park Barn Better Homes Programme is seeking an Architect and Engagement Consultant to lead Phase 1 of an Authority-led initiative to develop a long-term improvement strategy for the area. This phase will combine evidence-based analysis with inclusive community engagement to create a strategic framework that guides future housing and infrastructure improvements. The consultant will work across an area of approximately 1,000 homes (two-thirds Authority-owned) to establish agreed principles, priorities, and delivery parameters. Future phases may include housing upgrades, redevelopment opportunities, Authority housing delivery, and public space enhancements. The precise geographic boundary will be confirmed during Phase 1 through feasibility analysis and resident consultation. Suppliers should demonstrate expertise in community-led planning, strategic housing policy, and stakeholder engagement.
