Quantity Surveying Services for Howth Harbour Dredging and Land Reclamation Project

This is a call for quantity surveying services for a €30 million+ civil engineering project to dredge Howth Harbour in Ireland. The project involves dredging approximately 240,000 cubic metres of contaminated but non-hazardous material from four zones within the harbour (fishing basin, access channel, mooring area, and marina basin), treating and stabilising this material on the Middle Pier, and using it as infill to create a new multi-use reclaimed land area west of the West Pier. The project has received planning approval from An Bord Pleanála (ABP-314487-22) and is in final stages of EPA licensing (W 0312). The successful quantity surveying firm will be responsible for: reviewing and certifying final design documents and tender documentation for compliance with public works standards; providing ongoing commercial and contract administration support including change order assessment and valuation; reviewing and quantifying claims and compensation events; and conducting monthly site inspections with reporting throughout the works. The service provider must have demonstrated experience in marine civil engineering projects and will work in accordance with TII Rules for Measurement and Pricing and the Capital Works Management Framework for cost control. Tenderers should note that CESSM 4 revised standards do not apply to this project.
