Ecological Monitoring in Cases Other Than Construction – Habitat Mapping in 2026 - Group 4 (Parts 48 to 62)

This public contract involves the collection of current data on the distribution and quality of natural habitats through professional botanical field surveys. Data will be submitted using Wanas software by mapping individual segments and recording various attributes based on observations in the field (more details can be found in the mandatory methodological documents attached to the tender documentation). The output will be a digitized updated layer of habitat mapping, which will allow for visualization and further calculations regarding the state of habitats and sites. The obligation to monitor the state of natural habitats is imposed on nature conservation authorities by Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats, wild fauna, and flora. Another obligation arising from this directive is to submit assessment reports on the state of natural habitats to the European Commission at regular six-year intervals. The updated habitat mapping layer serves as the main data basis for these reports. This public contract represents one part of the cycle for updating the habitat mapping layer in the Czech Republic, fulfilling the needs of the Agency for Nature Conservation and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic for monitoring the state of natural habitats in the given calendar year. The entire public contract is divided into 78 parts according to individual locations. Due to the scope, this public contract has been divided into 5 separate procurement procedures (5 groups).
