Switzerland – Engineering Services for Tiefencastel Train Station Renovation

This project involves the complete renewal of the track and railway facilities, including the construction of two accessible platforms (each 300 meters long) connected by an underpass with covered stair and ramp access. The siding will be relocated and newly connected from the Filisur side. The track will be widened by reinforcing the valley-side viaduct (a separate project) and removing rock on the mountain side. A retaining wall renewal is necessary for the extension towards Thusis. Additionally, an accessible postbus terminal with two stopping areas and a turnaround will be created. To replace lost parking spaces, a new Park and Ride facility will be built on the mountain side, accessible via the adjusted Veia da Prada. Various utility lines will be adjusted or renewed during the renovation. Details can be found in the project documentation. The tender includes planning services for the execution project and realization, as well as coordination of the mentioned measures.
