Open-House Discount Contracts for Pharmaceuticals in Germany (2024-11)

The health insurance funds (whether HEK and/or hkk participate in each lot is determined by the designation of the respective lot) aim to enter into discount contracts with all suitable pharmaceutical companies according to § 130a Abs. 8 SGB V for the active ingredients, combinations of active ingredients, or forms of administration, strengths, or finished medicinal products specified in each lot. The medicines covered by the contract are, unless exceptions are specified in the contract, always all interchangeable finished medicinal products of the contracting partner according to the framework contract on medicinal supply in accordance with § 129 Abs. 2 SGB V. The contract is concluded within the framework of the Open-House procedure: Individual negotiations on contract contents will not be conducted, and uniform conditions apply. The health insurance funds do not guarantee exclusivity to individual contracting partners. The contract duration is generally a maximum of 24 months, starting no earlier than November 1, 2024 (deviating start times may arise from the information in the respective lot). The contract ends no later than October 31, 2026 (possible exceptions may arise from the information in the respective lot), regardless of the date of contract conclusion. Joining this Open-House procedure is possible at any time within the contract duration. All further information can be found in the participation and contract documents.
