Planning Technical Equipment for the New Construction of the Catholic Primary School Bischofstraße in Stolberg

The city of Stolberg is planning the demolition and subsequent new construction of the Catholic Primary School Bischofstraße in Stolberg (Rhld.). The existing building is not suitable for implementing the school's educational concept, so this project aims to modernize the school building and its outdoor facilities. Only the recently renovated gymnasium will be preserved. During the construction, school operations will be relocated to a temporary site. The gymnasium will continue to be used for community sports, and its operation must be ensured during the demolition and construction phases. The building and outdoor facilities must meet specific usage requirements and support the climate protection goals of the city of Stolberg. Therefore, the project aims to achieve sustainable building certification according to DGNB-Gold standards. Additionally, the criteria for QNG-Plus and KFW Efficiency House 40 must be adhered to, as the city intends to apply for corresponding funding for the implementation. To ensure the necessary integral planning for sustainability certification, as well as to address the information needs of building operations and the implementation of circular value creation (see C2C) within the project and in the future, the contracting authority will engage the participants to apply the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method. The procurement procedures for commissioning the relevant services will be carried out by the city of Stolberg for each service category.
