Construction Services for Tram Vehicle Extension in Germany

SWU Verkehr GmbH is seeking construction services for the extension of 18 Avenio tram vehicles due to increasing passenger numbers and to enhance service offerings. Each vehicle will be extended by approximately 11 meters, resulting in a 38% increase in passenger capacity. This extension requires structural modifications at various operational facilities necessary for the maintenance and upkeep of the vehicles. The specific modifications will affect Hall C, which includes parking areas, the operational workshop, and the washing hall, as well as the central workshop (Hall E). This procurement includes the delivery and installation of the overhead line system, along with necessary adjustments and renovation work on existing structures.
