Access Track Drainage and Resurfacing at Rodney Stoke

This project involves comprehensive access track improvements at Rodney Stoke, Mendip, Somerset, to be completed by 30 September 2026. The work includes installing a drainage system with a 300mm perforated pipe running down the centre of the track, with drainage spurs installed at 10-metre intervals at 45-degree angles to capture run-off. The drainage system will connect to an existing ditch at the base of the track and be backfilled with clean drainage stone. The track surface on both sides of the central trench must be resurfaced with durable materials suitable for agricultural machinery use. All drainage spurs should be concrete-lined or similar to facilitate ongoing maintenance. Suppliers should specify the proposed resurfacing material in their tender response.
