Environmental Services Procurement for Helsingør Wastewater Company

This contract opportunity is a re-tender of a previous procurement notice (number 328211-2025). The focus is on addressing the ecological issues in Skåninge Dam, which has been identified as a strategic area in the water management plans for 2021-2027 due to its poor ecological condition, particularly concerning organic substances like phosphorus and nitrogen. The dam currently receives organic pollutants from various rain-related overflows and diffuse discharges into the Knudemose stream. Therefore, there is a need to implement prioritized structural measures in the catchment area of Skåninge Dam, which borders and extends into Ålsgårde. Additionally, the existing combined sewer system in Ålsgårde is not expected to handle future rainfall amounts due to climate change, which means that Helsingør Supply will not be able to meet the service level for surface flooding, which is currently set at a maximum of once every ten years. Thus, there is also a need to adapt the wastewater system in Ålsgårde to climate change.
