Support for Brazil's Governance Framework

This Request for Quotation (RfQ) invites suppliers to provide technical assistance to Brazil's Ministry of Planning and Budget. The goal is to establish a strong governance framework that enhances coordination among federal, state, and municipal levels to implement the Brazil 2050 Strategy. This strategy focuses on preparing Brazil for the long-term effects of climate change while ensuring a fair transition, promoting resilient economic development, integrating Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) principles, and reducing poverty. The expected outcome is a robust governance model and a multi-level institutional framework that can effectively monitor the implementation of the Brazil 2050 Strategy, track progress across different regions and sectors, and support evidence-based policy decisions, as outlined in the Climate Sector Theory of Change. The project aims to strengthen organizational and institutional capacities and develop innovative policies, practices, and tools that encourage emissions reductions, in line with International Climate Finance (ICF) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
