Demolition and Site Preparation Works in Switzerland

This procurement opportunity involves the construction services required for the redevelopment of the Granges quarry and the compensation for deforestation related to the Locle project in the Bas-du-Reymond area (commune of La Chaux-de-Fonds). The primary goal of the work is to restore the Granges quarry following its securing and the urgent deforestation activities carried out between 2022 and 2025. Key objectives include landscape integration, on-site compensation for affected forest areas, restoration of habitats conducive to biodiversity, and rehabilitation of temporary sites at the top of the quarry in the area known as 'Les Roches Voumard'. Planned measures include: - Moving and placing soil and subsoil stockpiles on the quarry terraces; - Conducting seeding (including maintenance for 5 years); - Planting trees and shrubs (including maintenance for 5 years); - Installing biological structures; - Constructing dry stone walls (approximately 340m); - Decommissioning and removing existing construction access roads and creating permanent access to the quarry; In the Bas-du-Reymond area: Planting a forest area of approximately 1400 m2 (including maintenance for 5 years) and installing anti-wildlife fences.
