Main Contractor Needed for St Mary the Virgin Church Internal Reordering Project

St Mary the Virgin Church in Great Dunmow is seeking a main contractor to deliver a National Lottery Heritage Fund-supported internal reordering project. This is a significant renovation of the historic church building with the following scope of work: Structural and Access Work: - Relocation of the font - Lowering of the south porch internal floor level with associated remedial works - Construction of new internal porch and mezzanine to the tower Facilities and Installations: - Construction of internal partitions and installation of an accessible WC - Supply and installation of new floor construction and underfloor heating system at the west end - Supply and installation of new external doors Bespoke Elements: - Custom joinery including storage cupboards, ramps, AV desk, raised platform, and kitchenette Finishing Works: - New services installation and redecoration to all work areas This is a heritage project requiring experience with historic buildings.
