Hotel, Conference, and Long-Stay Services in Västerbotten

Umeå University is seeking suppliers to provide hotel, long-stay, conference, and meeting services in Västerbotten County. The current state framework agreement does not adequately cover the needs in smaller towns and rural areas where the university operates. This procurement aims to supplement the existing framework and ensure access to relevant services throughout the county. The procurement is divided into three categories: 1. Hotel Services 2. Meeting and Conference Services 3. Long-Stay Accommodation. The focus is on facilities outside Umeå and Skellefteå urban areas, as these are already covered by existing agreements. For hotel services, only establishments with at least two stars according to Hotelstars Union are eligible. There are no existing agreements for long-stay services in the county, so this category includes all of Västerbotten, including Umeå and Skellefteå. Contracts will be awarded to all suppliers who submit qualified bids and meet all requirements, with no ranking applied. Bookings will be distributed based on factors such as proximity to the event location, access to public transport, price, availability on desired dates, environmental considerations, accessibility, and specific needs for conferences or long-stays.
