Waste Management and Processing Services for Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb

This contract opportunity involves the collection and processing of waste, as well as the emptying of sedimentation tanks for the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb. The services include the collection and further processing of waste, along with all related handling activities such as weighing, loading, transporting, unloading waste, and emptying containers that serve as secondary packaging. All these handling activities must be included in the total price of the offer. The contractor is required to transport the waste from the collection site using specialized waste collection vehicles (refrigerated trucks for transporting infectious/contagious waste). At the collection site, the contractor must provide a waste weighing service using a mobile scale that must be certified by the State Office for Measurement, with the mandatory presence of a representative from the Client. The services of collection, weighing, and processing of waste must be included in the total price of the offer. The contractor is obliged to deliver a certified copy of the accompanying list to the user within no more than 5 days from the date of waste collection. The responsibility of the waste holder, i.e., the User, according to Article 21, paragraph 1 of the Waste Management Act NN (84/2021), NN (142/2023), ceases at the moment of waste collection by the contractor, in accordance with Article 21, paragraph 5 of the Waste Management Act NN (142/2023).
