Construction of D3 Highway from Kysucké Nové Mesto to Oščadnica

This contract involves the construction of the D3 highway section from Kysucké Nové Mesto to Oščadnica. The project begins at the Kysucké Nové Mesto area, connecting to the planned D3 Žilina, Brodno – Kysucké Nové Mesto section. The highway will cross the Kysuca River and run parallel to the existing I/11 road near Kysucký Lieskovec. It will include a bridge over the I/11 road at the Ochodnica junction, continuing alongside the I/11 road. The highway will traverse the cadastral areas of Kysucký Lieskovec, Dunajova, and Krásna nad Kysucou, ending at the newly designed Krásno nad Kysucou junction. The route will feature two levels of traffic lanes in steep forested slopes. The project aims to enhance the road network capacity in the region, reduce negative impacts from both passenger and especially freight traffic, and improve road safety.
