Local Bus and School Transport Services Contract

Kent County Council, the largest county council in England, is seeking suppliers for supported local bus services and home-to-school transport services. This contract aims to provide essential bus services that are not commercially viable but are necessary for social needs, such as rural connectivity. Additionally, it includes transport for eligible school pupils as determined by the Education and Young People's Directorate. Suppliers must be licensed to operate public service vehicles and can offer services as public bus routes or private hires. The total value of this Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is £100 million, and it has been extended to ensure service continuity until February 23, 2029.
