Environmental Cleanup Services for Oil Contamination in Vana-Vigala

This contract involves the cleanup of oil contamination at the property located at Pikk Street 9 in Vana-Vigala, Estonia. A study conducted in May and June 2025 revealed that the soil at this site is heavily contaminated with petroleum products, exceeding the allowable limits for both residential and industrial land. The contamination primarily exists in the fill material, humus layers, and sandy clay interlayers, with a maximum thickness of up to 5.3 meters. The estimated volume of the contaminated area is approximately 6,450 cubic meters, equivalent to about 10,320 tons, some of which extends beyond the property boundaries. The study utilized an accurate 3D model created using geodetic data and AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Analysis indicated that in several locations, the levels of petroleum products and PAH compounds significantly exceed permissible limits. Given the extent of the contamination, hydrogeological conditions, and environmental safety considerations, the study concluded that the only technically and temporally feasible solution is ex-situ remediation, which involves excavating the contaminated soil, transporting it, and handling it at a landfill.
