Construction Works for Railway Lines - Siemensbahn Alliance - Award Package 3 (KIB Restoration)

The "Siemensbahn Alliance" project is being executed as a partnership model for railways. The selection of alliance partners will occur through five staggered procurement procedures in the following award packages: > Award Package 1 Planning, > Award Package 2 KIB New Construction, > Award Package 3 KIB Restoration (the subject of this document), > Award Package 4 Rectifier Substations, > Award Package 5 Traffic Facilities. *** Award Package 3 "KIB Restoration" includes the restoration or upgrading of all engineering structures under monument protection. This includes railway overpasses, platform roof structures, and platforms at the Wernerwerk and Siemensstadt traffic stations. Additionally, Award Package 3 encompasses the areas of civil engineering, technical building equipment, traffic management, and earthworks/deep construction (sections 1.2 and 1.3). These are all technically and constructively interdependent. Furthermore, this award package involves providing, maintaining, operating, and repairing all necessary machines, equipment, materials, and suitably qualified personnel for fulfilling the performance requirements. The performance requirements of VP3 include all construction services and the necessary work and assembly planning required for the successful realization of the project, which are not included in the performance requirements of VP1, VP2, VP4, and VP5. Additionally, it is the responsibility and duty to participate in all planning services within the project and to contribute expertise. The following services are to be provided by VP3: Structural Engineering: • All engineering structures to be restored • Platform construction (BWRK, BSMS) • Platform roof construction (BWRK, BSMS) • Platform (BWRK, BSMS) Civil Engineering: Technical building equipment Traffic management (implementation) Earthworks / Deep construction PA 1.2 & PA 1.3: • Construction aids • Disposal of excavated materials • If necessary, soil replacement/improvement • Excavation, earthworks, railway embankment Additional services include: • Support/participation in obtaining UiG/ZiE • Coordination with monument protection (including creating sample areas and conducting sample tests or trial restorations) • The expansion of storage facilities (steel structures) for inspection and, if necessary, restoration • If needed, conducting further structural investigations. ***
