Legal Advisor Services for PDHU Renewal

This contract opportunity is for legal advisor services related to the renewal of the Pimlico District Heating Undertaking (PDHU). The procurement process was competitive and conducted under the London Borough Legal Alliance (LBLA). The selected legal advisor will provide a wide range of in-house legal services to support the PDHU renewal program, including advice on property, housing, energy, environment, planning, public procurement, commercial matters, construction, statutory consultation, finance, and more. The contract will cover the entire PDHU Program from RIBA Stage 1 to Stage 7, expected to last between 8 to 10 years. It is structured based on a schedule of rates with a flexible scope, allowing services to be provided as needed throughout the program. The Council has estimated the contract value at £700,000 excluding VAT, with an initial term of 7 years. However, the duration and total expenditure may vary in accordance with the program's needs and the evolving scope of services. The contract may extend beyond the anticipated term and the total value may exceed the initial estimate.
