Urban Development Construction Works in Romania

The project "Urban Regeneration of the Public Space between Str. Traian Vuia, B-dul Republicii, Str. Piața Florilor, and B-dul Corvin, including Central Park" is funded under the West Regional Program 2021-2027, Priority P7. A Region for Citizens, Operation IR7.1.A Urban Revitalization and Regeneration. The Municipality of Hunedoara is initiating the procurement procedure for the contract to acquire execution works for the project "Urban Regeneration of the Public Space between Str. Traian Vuia, B-dul Republicii, Str. Piața Florilor, and B-dul Corvin, including Central Park" SMIS 336105, according to Technical Project No. 03/2023 and Technical Project 122/2024. The revitalization and regeneration of public spaces in Central Park and the surrounding area is the main objective of this contract, aiming to make the area more aesthetically pleasing, functionally diverse, and resilient to climate change challenges. This project seeks to enhance the attractiveness of public spaces for residents and tourists, improve the quality of public areas, and strengthen local communities. The project aims to increase public access to attractive and quality public spaces by transforming and revitalizing densely populated areas within the Municipality of Hunedoara. It aligns with specific objective 5.1 of Priority 7 of the West Regional Operational Program through investments in the renovation, modernization, and equipping of Central Park and its adjacent areas, including the Micro 2 neighborhood, and by incorporating these areas into socio-cultural activities and community-focused initiatives.
