Construction Works for Expansion of Rhein-Sieg-Gymnasium

The City of Sankt Augustin is planning to construct a new extension building at the Rhein-Sieg-Gymnasium site. This building will be partially two and partially three stories high, located along Grantham-Allee. It will be a concrete structure without a basement. The two-story section will feature a rooftop garden, while the three-story section will include a photovoltaic (PV) system. The site area is approximately 4,700 m2, with a ground floor area of about 1,900 m2, a net floor area of approximately 4,420 m2, and a building volume of around 22,990 m3. The scope of work includes various metalworking tasks both inside and outside the building, such as constructing a pergola, sunshade systems, a canopy, and fall protection for the rooftop garden, as well as stair railings, fall protections, and handrails in all three internal stairwells. Suppliers are invited to submit their proposals for these construction works by the deadline of October 21, 2025.
