Conwy County Borough Council Housing First Service Commission

Conwy County Borough Council is commissioning its own Housing First service for the first time, transitioning from the joint delivery arrangement previously managed by Denbighshire. This initiative will be delivered in accordance with The Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, incorporating five key working principles: long-term thinking, prevention, integration, collaboration, and meaningful involvement. The service will be designed and delivered through genuine partnership with service users and stakeholders. Housing First is a supported housing approach that prioritizes rapid access to permanent housing combined with intensive support services for individuals experiencing homelessness.
