VIVID is seeking a Principal Contractor to undertake refurbishment works at Elm Grove, a Listed property in Kingsclere, Newbury, RG20 5RD. The project involves comprehensive repairs, cleaning, and decoration of all external windows and doors. Key works include: removing and replacing putty with rubdown and redecoration; repairing timber decay in windows and doors; repairing or replacing sash cords and weights; replacing fixings, handles, and bolts as needed; and completing internal and external redecoration. This is a Listed building project, so contractors must have experience working with heritage properties and comply with relevant conservation requirements. The successful contractor will manage the entire refurbishment to restore the building's external envelope while maintaining its historical character.
