External Evaluation of MRC Research Fellowships Programme

UKRI-MRC is seeking a supplier to conduct an independent external evaluation assessing the return on investment (ROI) and social return on investment (SRoI) of its Fellowships programme. The evaluation will help MRC demonstrate the value Fellowships bring to the UK economy and society, inform future strategic programme development and investment decisions, and establish robust mechanisms for tracking and measuring the long-term benefits and value of Fellowship investments. This opportunity is available exclusively through the Crown Commercial Service RM6126 Research and Insights Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). Only suppliers currently registered on RM6126 under eligible sub-categories (Grants and grant funding, Econometric analysis, Financial analysis including cost-benefit and ROI analysis, Impact assessment, Mixed methods research, Impact evaluation, Theory-based impact evaluation, or Value-for-money evaluation) can bid. Interested suppliers must register on the UKRI Atamis e-sourcing portal, then email MRCProcurement@ukri.org with their registered email address to request access to tender documents. The deadline for submissions is 27 July 2026. All communications and submissions must occur through the Atamis portal. Suppliers not registered on RM6126 cannot participate.
