Procurement of Up to 30 Battery Electric Solo Buses and Charging Stations in Lampertheim, Germany

This contract involves the procurement of up to 30 low-floor solo buses powered by battery electricity, along with the installation of 8 charging stations, each with 2 charging points, in Lampertheim. There is also an option for an additional 8 charging stations in Mannheim/Neckarau. The delivery of the buses and the installation of the charging stations will be awarded to a general contractor. V-Bus has applied for funding to procure 20 buses and establish 16 charging stations at the Lampertheim depot, supported by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport. The minimum guaranteed order is for 20 buses, but the contract allows for additional optional vehicles as future demand may require more. V-Bus is not obligated to purchase these additional vehicles but can order them up to a defined limit, depending on available funding. The contract also includes provisions for spare parts supply, with a framework delivery contract lasting 10 years after the last vehicle is accepted. The contracting authority reserves the right to further specify the contract during the procurement process. Additionally, the plan includes the procurement and installation of 8 chargers with 2 charging points each at the Lampertheim location, where the necessary space is available and feasibility for electrification has been demonstrated.
