Zürich-Winterthur Rail Project: Engineering and Surveying Services

The MehrSpur Zürich – Winterthur project involves the planning of a new double-track railway line through the Brüttenertunnel and the expansion of the Dietlikon, Bassersdorf, Wallisellen, Winterthur, and Winterthur Töss train stations. This project aims to alleviate the current bottleneck in the rail network between Zürich and Winterthur and to enhance service offerings. The selected firm will be responsible for determining and providing track assurances and reference points throughout the entire project area during construction. This includes all necessary tasks such as installation, surveying, evaluation, and data provision. In Section 2, related to the construction of the Brüttenertunnel, the firm will also be responsible for establishing the baseline and advance network, controlling the tunneling process, conducting additional construction inspections on behalf of the construction management, and performing monitoring measurements.
