Construction of Emergency Medical Service Base in Náchod

This public contract involves the construction of a new emergency medical service base for the Hradec Králové Region in Náchod. The project includes a two-story, non-basement building with a rectangular footprint and a flat green roof. The design allows for continuous 24-hour operation of the emergency station. The ground floor will feature garage spaces with a total of 5 exit doors (3 for ambulances, 1 for emergency vehicles, and 1 for vehicle decontamination), along with technical rooms, storage areas, decontamination spaces, and staff changing rooms. Additionally, the contractor must adhere to the requirements of the participants in the proceedings and relevant state administration authorities. The project includes ensuring video documentation of the construction process (time-lapse), which will be edited into a short clip at the end of the project. The contractor is also responsible for mandatory publicity measures, including 1 temporary billboard and 1 permanent commemorative plaque. Further conditions are specified in the draft contract. The contract also includes ensuring trial operation and obtaining the occupancy permit. The contractor must submit a request to the Náchod Building Authority for preliminary information, ensure all necessary steps for a positive resolution of changes to the issued joint permit, obtain a joint permit for the project, and its subsequent occupancy approval. The changes to the issued joint permit involve minor construction modifications on the second floor, specifically the redesign of the second-floor layout, replacing the originally approved training room with two new rooms for doctors and paramedics (rooms 206 and 223), and the resulting changes to window openings on the building's facade. The contracting authority reminds suppliers of the obligation to comply with the DNSH requirements during construction, as detailed in the contract.
