    Brief

The Kliniken der Stadt Köln gGmbH is seeking to procure at least 600 iPads (11th generation), including a minimum of 350 styluses, 600 cases, and 600 screen protectors (Lot 1: iPads), as well as 50 signature pads (Lot 3: Signature Pads). Lot 2, which includes charging cabinets, will be procured separately due to urgency considerations. Under the framework agreement for Lot 1, a maximum of 900 iPads, 550 styluses, 900 cases, and 900 screen protectors can be ordered. For Lot 3, the specified 50 signature pads must be delivered. The procurement of iPads and styluses can only be fulfilled by products from Apple Inc., while the signature pads must come from signotec GmbH. The procurement is part of a larger project to implement a digital patient information, consent, and document signature software, which has already been awarded to Thieme Compliance GmbH. The requirements for using this software necessitate the specified Apple products for Lot 1 and signotec products for Lot 3. The project is funded by the Hospital Future Fund, which is supported by the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Facility, and is subject to relevant funding conditions.
