Technical Planning Services for the Röwekamp Primary School Renovation

The project involves the renovation, expansion, and modernization of the historic Röwekamp Primary School in Oldenburg, originally built in 1896. This two-stream school, which has three floors, was extended in 2009 with a two-story addition. The total usable area is approximately 1,360 m². As part of the transition to a full-day school program, the project aims to achieve the following key objectives: 1) Energy-efficient renovation of the existing building, including the development of the currently unused attic space. The entire building will be made accessible, with the installation of elevators (from the basement to the attic) and lifting platforms (from the basement). Existing spaces will be adapted to meet the educational concept. 2) Construction of a full-day school with an expansion (approximately 190 m²) of the 2009 addition to include a school cafeteria. 3) Modernization of all building services and creation of new technical and sanitary facilities. 4) Compliance with technical requirements (fire protection, sound insulation, etc.) and asbestos remediation in certain areas of the school.
