Germany – Structural Planning Services for Gerlingen City Museum - Heritage Restoration of Entire Ensemble

The Gerlingen City Museum is undergoing necessary renovations to meet current requirements. The future usage concept aims to preserve the historical courtyard complex from the early 19th century, which serves as both the City Museum and the Museum of Germans from Hungary, as a cultural monument through extensive restoration measures. After the complete renovation, the museum will function as an accessible exhibition building and a venue for events and gatherings for both the local population and visitors to Gerlingen. The project will ensure that the museum and the residential building are adapted to current building regulations, technical standards, and energy efficiency norms while respecting heritage conservation. All components will meet accessibility standards. The procurement process involves structural planning services according to HOAI 2021, Part 4 Section 1, §§ 49 ff., covering service phases 1-6. The contract will be awarded in stages, with phases 1-3 being commissioned in the first stage. The estimated total costs for the entire project are approximately 6 million EUR gross.
