Postal Services for Elections in Germany

This contract is for the provision of postal services related to the delivery of election notifications in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is aimed at supporting local municipalities in the region. A framework agreement is being established to replace the previous one that expires on February 17, 2025. The procurement process was initiated through a negotiation procedure due to a lack of sufficient bids in the previous open tender. The services include the transportation and delivery of election notifications for state and federal elections, as well as local elections that coincide with the European elections, and other elections throughout the year. The contract may also cover any unforeseen early elections. The contract duration is 48 months, with an option for the buyer to extend it twice for an additional 12 months each time. A minimum order quantity of 190,000 election notifications is guaranteed over the four-year period, with specific minimum quantities of 170,000 for Lot 1 and 20,000 for Lot 2.
