Brief

The Municipality of Maastricht is seeking a new contract for a Network Management System (NMS) for traffic systems, currently provided by Technolution B.V. Over the past few years, significant investments have been made in the software and various modules to ensure the system meets the municipality's needs. This year, it has become clear that a new agreement for an NMS is necessary. The Municipality of Breda is in a similar situation and has conducted a market consultation to gather information about available options. The consultation revealed that Technolution is currently the only supplier capable of providing the specific functionalities required, which include: a comprehensive overview of all current and future traffic systems (such as traffic light installations, dynamic route information panels, and parking management), simultaneous access to certain components in traffic light installations, advanced control of dynamic route information panels, extensive capabilities for rule scenarios, traffic management triggers based on streaming V-Log, the ability to display, combine, and analyze various types of notifications from all traffic systems, a web module for operational deployment, and specific expansion options for the NMS, including a ticket module with API access for maintenance parties and the separation of objects between different road managers and maintenance parties.
