Interior Design Services for YMCA Tottenham Lane Supported Housing Scheme

YMCA London City and North (YLCAN) seeks an Interior Design practice to develop detailed interior design proposals (RIBA Stage 3+) for a new supported accommodation building at Crouch End, London. The scheme will provide approximately 174 bedspaces in a co-living model, featuring shared kitchens, lounges, communal areas, staff facilities, and support spaces designed for young people experiencing homelessness or housing instability. The interior designer will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive design packages including room layouts and specifications, finishes schedules, furniture and equipment selections, joinery details, wayfinding and signage strategy, and tender documentation for a Design & Build procurement. All designs must incorporate inclusive, sustainable, and psychologically-informed principles to create safe, aspirational, and durable environments. Bidders must demonstrate experience on at least two comparable projects (supported housing, co-living, or student accommodation), proven experience working with public sector or third sector clients, capability to deliver coordinated RIBA Stage 3+ packages, and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary design teams. A minimum of 30 days will be allowed for tender submissions.
